When this Park9 A-lister first met Staci at Woofstock last year, he fit in the palm of his mom’s hand. On February 12, Chachi celebrated his first birthday and is a typical Aquarius – curious, energetic, friendly and a natural born star. He can hardly walk down the street without being stopped for a photo-op by a passing admirer.
This leggy guy spends most of his Park9 time at the Liberty Village location, running and hopping like a fawn with his buds Ned the pug, Umi the Brussels griffon and Marni the cavalier. Wherever there’s a fluffy tail, you’ll find Chachi hot on the chase. When it’s time to wind down, he makes a perfect little spoon for naps with Bentley the retriever.
His virtues include a perfect house-breaking track record (knock on wood), and a fondness for almond butter. He sets himself apart from his siblings as the only short-haired pup in his litter. You know he loves you when he greets you with a full point turn, and lets you tickle him under his chin.
His turn-offs include horses (don’t even go there), and he is very particular about his surfaces – we had to take him colour-by-colour to get comfortable on our striped playground floor.
His perfect day starts with sleeping in after a late night, and an endless parade of dogs to sniff and humans to admire him.
